My name is Paul A. Oden, and I am a Field Service Representative (FSR) with AFBN. I am licensed in the state of Georgia as an insurance producer. I decided to work with AFBN because I love the military and am honored to serve those who serve us.
I retired from the Army in 2004 as a Sergeant First Class. I served over 20 years of active service. I enlisted in 1984 as an Engineer at Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri for Basic Training and AIT. I served in many places around the world starting with Ft. Lewis, WA, Karlsruhe, Germany, Greece, Desert Storm /Desert Shield, Ft. Stewart, GA, Somalia Africa, West Point, NY and completed my service at Ft. Benning, GA. During my time at Ft. Benning, I served as a Drill Sergeant then as a Brigade S2.
While serving as a Drill Sergeant, I was introduced to AFBN by the Battalion’s Chaplain Assistant. After sitting with the Agent, I realized that as an E7 with 16 years in, there was a lot of information that was unclear to me, regarding my benefits and future plans. Once the Agent educated me, I made the decision that when I retire I would help soldiers, making sure they would be better informed and more prepared than I was.
Since 2004, I’ve had the privilege of working with AFBN. My job is to make sure that you have all the available and updated information to make more intelligent decisions for your career and your family’s financial future. It’s my pleasure to be your Agent. It doesn’t matter where you go, I’m just a phone call away.
