David Beckley Jr, FSR

I joined the military via the Air Force right out of high school and served for 9 years. The time enlisted, at this point in my life, defined and built the person I became. Also, because the time in the Air Force is on my resume I have had a great sales career in the civilian world. I’ve held positions that I would not have gotten if it wasn’t for my time in the Air Force. The military has provided me with the discipline and professionalism required to grow as an employee and person.

I’ve always dreamed of giving back to the Military in some way. Serving those who are serving me by defending my rights and freedom is a great feeling. And something I take immense pride in doing. Armed Forces Benefits Network is a perfect way to give back to the military community. I have an extensive background in financial services and I also love talking about helping people plan for their future.

After spending 9 years in the Air Force, I honestly had very little education and knowledge on saving for my financial future. It wasn’t until the very end of my Air Force career that my direct supervisor enlightened me on saving and investing in mutual funds. It was then the proverbial ‘light bulb’ went off and I’ve been involved in the financial services industry since. That was over 20 years ago and I still love helping people plan for their financial future. I was blessed to get that insight from my then supervisor. Had he not given me that bit of knowledge, who knows where I would be financially at this time. Now working with AFBN, it is an honor and a pleasure to speak with the men and women who are serving and protecting my rights and freedoms. Giving them the knowledge necessary to ensure they are all set for their financial future.

David found success at AFBN.
Now, It’s YOUR turn.
