Chris Benkendorf, MGA

With over 20 years in the financial services industry, Chris has dedicated his career to helping military members achieve their financial dreams. With his team of financial reps in locations throughout the U.S., Chris works tirelessly to select and train top-notch financial reps who share his same passion.

As a 3rd generation servicemember, Chris’s dedication to military life runs deep. At age 18 he enlisted in the Army and then married his high school sweetheart. While stationed at Ft. Polk, LA, Chris, and his wife were introduced to a financial representative that informed them of the gaps in their financial plan.

After having 3 children, and then having to transition from military life to civilian life, Chris understands first-hand the importance of financial security. People don’t often understand what it truly means to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. It’s very important to save for the future but it’s also important to understand how devastating it can be to a family if the proper financial products aren’t in place if something bad happens.Today that dedication to saving, investing, and taking the proper steps to live within their means has paid off.

My kids are on their way to college and my wife and I are comfortable knowing that we are prepared financially. It’s a liberating feeling. Working with the military and his passion for showing others the path to financial security has led to a very satisfying and rewarding career. I get up every morning with a great sense of purpose, I have the drive to help my clients and team members succeed and it doesn’t get any better than this.

Chris found success at AFBN.
