Laura Nordquist, AFBN Executive
I do not have a military background or much background of service in my family tree, however I did grow up with immense respect for the military and what they do for all Americans. I was in high school when friends, school mates, and relatives were enlisting for the Gulf War. This was a fairly profound experience in my life. I became involved in the financial services industry in my early 20’s and have been working in the profession ever since. In 2010 I began working with an organization who was one of the few to provide active duty servicemembers and their families insurance coverage and supplemental retirement solutions thru AFBN.
Typically this is fairly high risk and many companies aren’t interested in the marketplace, so I was immensely proud to work with an organization who felt this was as important as it is. After a decade with the insurance carrier I was able to transfer to working directly with AFBN. Working with AFBN and its representatives, management team and clients has been one of my proudest accomplishments, knowing that I am truly working each and every day to Serve those who Serve to preserve our way of life.
